"The cinema is truth twenty-four times per second." -- Jean-Luc Godard.
We host several annual film festivals, delivering contemporary international films to US audiences from coast to coast. We specialize in contemporary Austrian, German, and Swiss films, and strive to cover all genres, including: documentary, feature, animated, and short films.
We do this because we believe a vibrant cinema culture is an important part of every community, because we believe films are meant to be seen on the big screen in the company of others, and because we believe in supporting locally-owned theaters.
We also believe that the experience of collective movie-going should be financially accessible to all members of our communities. We thus seek financial support through consulates, corporations, and major donors.
The 9th annual Oregon State International Film Festival (OSIFF) is soliciting submissions for documentary, narrative, animated, and experimental short films (up to 20 minutes), and for documentary, narrative or animated feature films (up to 100 minutes)!
